I would have been better served by buying a manual bicycle pump. The unit's inflation rate was very slow and it got very hot during normal operation. The guage was highly inaccurate. It failed (internal air leak) after only a few uses. Well, I guess the on/off switch in the cord functioned - at least until the unit failed.Run, don't walk, Run away from this product.
