United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase I realize that it costs alot to make quality items,so I, like many others settle for not-so-quality items at a reduced price. This does not mean that the items we purchase for $400-$500 should fall into a "poor quality" category. That is what I would call this foosball table. Unfortunatly I didn't realize it until I had almost finshed putting it together. The entire table is particle board. The leg adjusting cups on the bottom of the legs look like metal but are in reality chrome plated plastic. Three of the eight clamping screws for the front and rear panels were stripped. The support struts for the playing field board, being particle board, flex more than the cardboard supports for the shipping box! Needless to say I would not recommend purchasing this table unless the price was reduced to $159-$200. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Harvard G01888W Mid Fielder Soccer Table (Sports) This table is falling apart at work LOL. We have two foosball tables at work and this one is the "bad foosball table" LOL. Is seriously a health hazard, it's going to fall on someone's toe for sure and it's going to be a lawsuit. Table weighs in at 180 pounds so it stands up to heavy play and won't dance around the floor. Not the same as a heavy bar quality table but more than holds its own. Directions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow and construction didn't take too long (about 2 1/2 hours). All in all, am very pleased with the table and the price. |
