I just plugged it in and changed the settings on my tv and blu-ray player to wired, and it was good to go. The speed is a lot better than wireless. I was having to wait a long time for videos from Hulu to load and that was at SD quality. Now they load almost instantly at HD quality! I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a reliable high speed connection to their AV components. The price at Amazon was more than $300.00 less than in store!!
