I have decided that I like this seat... a lot.But, why would a decision of acceptance require so much time? If you will; indulge me here for a moment. The seat that was on my bike originally was a soft, cloth-covered, nicely shaped saddle... what else can I say? It felt comfortable at first, but... I suppose, because of the cloth covering over cheap foam, that the seat had a tendency to overheat the areas of this man that should not be heated too much... friction... a bit like rubbing two sticks together to create heat and make fire. Also, whereas my butt-cheek-bones sunk into the original seat with ease, whenever my bike hit a bump, my bum was already bottomed out (no pun intended) against the seat's rigid frame, and my entire body was jarred. The seat still looks brand new, a huge feat considering I ride 80 miles a week (used to be 120).I bought it solely for the Z-Fit system, but now I'd buy it for the comfort. Seriously. BUY THIS SEAT. EDIT: Over 1,200 miles later, I am still in love with this seat.
