This review is from: Dexter mens Daxxll Bowling Shoes (Apparel) I'm one of those new bowlers who averages about 130 per game. These shoes fit very well for me and I think I play better with them. The shoe size for this shoe is the same as your regular shoe size, so get the size that you would normally choose. The design is really good; I thought the shiny parts that you see on the preview were going to be cheap material, but I was wrong; the shoe really is built very well. The shoelaces are thick and durable. The only downside for some people may be that the shoe is kinda of narrow (width-wise), so it might seem a little tight if you have wide feet like me; but it's ok for bowling. The price is the same here on amazon as if you would buy the shoe in store (minus shipping&handling). The bottom of the shoe slides very well (not too smooth and not too rough). While that is not a bad reason, you should have full disclosure. A) This is an automatic, mechanical (not quartz) watch. They are inherently less accurate than quartz. This is the technology we had before quartz burst on the scene in the 1970s. As a result, expect that it can be off by as much as 30 seconds per day. On this watch, you won't necessarily notice, as there are no dial markers. You will only know the time to the nearest 5 minutes anyway. Face it, you are not buying this watch for the accuracy. Plan on setting it once a week, and you might be surprised to notice that you are more confident about your watch than the quartz owner who never checks his watch! B) On the other hand, the result of this being automatic is that it will never need a battery. It winds automatically using gravity, your normal wrist movement, and a weighted rotor, which one can see... Three years ago I bought my first and it was defective. I returned it to Swatch but could not be fixed, so, I was offered a new one of my choice and went for the Irony Chronos. It was better, but I wanted THIS one. After a long wait, last year's collection brought this model back and I bought it again. I have been watching this one close and so far works flawlessly. Beautiful design although metal strap is now lighter and carries a different pattern. Anyway, orb stayed the same and I like the new strap. A lot of other skeleton watches here on Amazon are designer watches that are made in China, not the excellent Swiss craftsmanship that you get with this watch. This is a mechanical watch, which means it is nowhere near as accurate as a quartz watch. Mine gains a few minutes every month, but that's OK... you're not buying this watch for the accuracy, you're buying it for the nostalgia and aesthetics, and it is a beautiful watch indeed. One con: the stainless steel bracelet is very prone to scuff marks, I got scratch marks on mine just after a few days of use, but I heard that you can take it to any jeweler to have it polished. Dayley - See all my reviews    We bought these for my daughter (at the time she was 8) because we were tired of her either loosing her lunch on car trips, or being so loopy from the motion sickness medicine. She put them on and was doing so well with them that she even rode backwards in the car to talk to her siblings in the backseat on a very wind-y canyon road and didn't feel sick at all! The people would actully be sea sick and put the bands on and be fine within a half an hour. I fish on Lake Huron and it gets rough sometimes for people, but these bands have worked more than times than not. A lot of people don't know about them and we could use more advertisement on them and dealers in the area. In my previous pregnancy, my nausea was an all day thing and nothing helped it but ginger capsules. For some reason, ginger wasn't working this time, so I had my husband pick up a pair of these. I tried them yesterday, and I'll be darned if I didn't feel nearly as sick as I had been for the previous couple of weeks UNTIL I TOOK THEM OFF FOR AWHILE. That's good enough proof for me that it wasn't a coincidence. I will say that my current nausea is worse when I'm standing or moving around, so that may be why these bands help me and may not make much of a difference to other pregnant women. In my previous pregnancy, it didn't matter what I was doing...my stomach churned constantly and who knows? Maybe bands wouldn't have worked at all. Pros: Cheap, well-constructed, and they WORK! If they work this well for hormonal nausea, I'm sure they work wonderfully for travel-related sickness...
